Begin working on your lifesaving skills with Bronze Star, simulating basic aquatic rescues. In Bronze Medallion, practice more difficult rescues and develop skills in Emergency First Aid. Finally, in Bronze Cross (the pre-requisite for the National Lifeguard Service course), work on advanced rescues and prepare for higher levels of aquatic training.

National Lifeguard Service

Certifies individuals to work as lifeguards in pools across Canada. Pre-requisites: Bronze Cross, Standard First Aid with CPR-C, and the individual must be 16 years of age by the exam date.
