The Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre (MNjcc) is a dynamic hub in downtown Toronto. We provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to be active, learn, connect and participate in a wide range of cultural experiences. Rooted in Jewish values, the MNjcc is open to all.
The MNjcc is home to a 3,800 member state-of-the-art Fitness Centre, the 285 seat Al Green Theatre, four schools, three choirs, a wide range of arts and cultural activities, Jewish Life programming, and a robust Active 55+ program. It is a founding member of the Bloor Street Cultural Corridor, and the lead organizer of the annual Annex Family Festival.

The Development & Administration Assistant plays an important role by providing support to both the Development Department and the Finance & HR Department. The position will further the mission of the MNjcc by participating in fundraising activities including gift processing, donor acknowledgement and direct mail. They will also coordinate office receptionist duties, including filing, data entry and other admin tasks. Reporting to the CFO and the Director of Development, this multifaceted position is a great opportunity for a dynamic, organized individual who enjoys an active learning environment in a team-oriented organization.
The Tikkun Leil Shavuot all night learning festival includes sessions on Torah and Talmud study, philosophy, Jewish cultural studies, meditation, singing, storytelling and more. This event is free, open to all, and attracts 700 participants, and will take place the evening of May 19th.
Reporting to the Coordinator of Tikkun Leil Shavuot, the Food and Volunteer Coordinator will focus on organizing food donations/purchases and the requirement/supervision of volunteers. Hours will increase as the event draws nearer.
The Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre is seeking experienced RECE or ECA teachers for its Preschool and Toddler rooms. The position is on an at need basis. Preference will be given to RECE teachers with previous experience in Play-Based Learning and/or a Child Directed Learning program. Be a part of this dynamic school where you will have the opportunity to grow with the children. Primary responsibilities include stepping in for the replacement of an absent staff.
